LETI DE LA VEGA: Canciones De La Familia De La Vega Or buy this CD from CD Baby Canciones De La Familia De La Vega (Songs of the De La Vega Family) Terea Leticia De La Vega presents more of her family's origianl blend of music. Leti's family music reflects the influences of the styles of music they learned in Mexico and Texas. Music has been a part of the De La Vega family for generations as is depicted by the picture on the cover of this CD of Leti's grandfather (left) and her father (right). "Papa's Blues" performed by Leo De La Vega (Leti's Brother) is a tribute to their father. This CD contains songs written not only by Leo but also by her mother Eustolia De La Vega, her brother Richard De La Vega and his wife Rebecca and of course songs by Leti. Leti's songs on this CD are about the De La Bega side of her family. These songs are abot her family members as well as of things that she was a part of growing up on her grandfather's rand (Rancho Viejo) in Mexico. As with Leti's early CDs, several generations of the De La Vega family perform on this CD. Toni Price recorded one of her songs, "Musicos en los Corridas" on her Sol Power album.
